Biff was originally drawn in 1989. Brand development and product development began in 1999. Biff has grown from a greeting card personality to an entire brand with an extensive line of designer merchandise and officially licensed products. The BTD brand includes plush toys, stationery, clothing, jewelry, accessories, home decor, mobile device skins, activity sticker books for kids, and much more! We are located in San Francisco.
About Biff Dog: Meet the canine companion who’s all about loving yourself for who you are. Biff the Dog is so culture-savvy and accepting, he’s the perfect role model for kids. If you’ve ever met a dog, then you know — they love you no matter what your race, background or beliefs. That’s why Biff was created. He’s a great reminder that you’re perfect because you’re unique. He’s cute, cuddly and irresistible, too.
About the artist: Tracy Calvert Ambrose has been immersed in the world of art throughout her career. From illustrator to art director, product developer and traditional painter, she is accomplished in both commercial and fine art.
Tracy is fluent in Italian and Spanish, and semi-fluent in a few other languages, she hopes to develop Biff even further by making him accessible world-wide in many languages. She resides in California's Bay Area, with her husband and their two cats.
