Remembering Gogus. The inspiration behind Biff the Dog and my character-branded art.
My dog Tasha, had the nickname Gogus. She was with me during the years of 1987-1999. She was my greatest teacher of unconditional love.
In 1989, I created the character property Biff...the Dog® loosely based on her image and infused by her vibe of unconditional love. She has inspired my art for years now. It is a way of life for me to always strive to make the best choices based in that same unconditional love that she taught me. As a result, Biff the Dog has been an icon for tolerance and acceptance mimicking Tasha to be the love of real dogs. A character property that can teach a vibration of love in a world sometimes striving to get out of darkness and hatred is an important quality for a character to embody.

About the artist: Tracy Calvert Ambrose has been immersed in the world of art throughout her career. From illustrator to art director, product developer and traditional painter, she is accomplished in both commercial and fine art.
Tracy is fluent in Italian and Spanish, and semi-fluent in a few other languages, she hopes to develop Biff even further by making him accessible world-wide in many languages. She resides in California's Bay Area, with her husband and their two cats.
